About Mind Node Base

Our story

Mind Node Base Ltd was established in 2021 by Eleanor Marsh and James Okonkwo, who met at a local technology meetup in Perth and discovered a shared frustration: most staking guides assumed readers already ran servers or understood consensus protocols in depth.

They started hosting informal evening sessions for a handful of SOL holders in a borrowed office on New Row. Word spread through Scottish crypto study groups, and by 2023 the sessions had formalised into structured workshops with printed materials and follow-up notes.

Today, Mind Node Base serves individuals, small teams, and community groups across the United Kingdom. We remain a small operation by choice — every session is facilitated by someone who has delivered staking education for several years.

What we teach

Our curriculum covers proof-of-stake mechanics on Solana, epoch cycles and reward timing, validator commission and uptime metrics, and practical steps for evaluating where to delegate stake. We explain concepts using public network data and printed worksheets — not live trading or wallet management.

Our approach

Sessions are conversational. Participants ask questions throughout, and we adjust examples based on the group's prior knowledge. We provide glossaries, checklists, and follow-up summaries so you can revisit material after the session ends.

We do not recommend specific validators, manage funds, or provide tax or legal advice. Our role is educational: helping you read public information with confidence.

The team

Eleanor Marsh — Lead facilitator. Eleanor has delivered over 80 staking workshops since 2021 and maintains the reference library materials. She previously worked in adult education before focusing on cryptocurrency literacy.

James Okonkwo — Facilitator and content author. James writes the guides published on this site and leads group learning sessions for community organisations. He holds a background in technical writing and has studied Solana validator operations since 2020.

Community connection

We participate in local meetups across Scotland and occasionally travel to England for group bookings. Our Perth studio on New Row hosts in-person workshops when group size permits.
