Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember preferences and understand how visitors use the site. Similar technologies include localStorage, which we use for cookie consent.
How we use cookies
Mind Node Base uses a minimal approach to cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The cookies and storage items we use are listed below.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| mind-nodebase-cookie-consent | Stores your cookie consent choice (accepted or rejected) | Persistent (until cleared) | Mind Node Base (localStorage) |
Essential vs analytics
Essential: The consent preference stored in localStorage is essential for remembering your choice and not showing the banner on every visit.
Analytics: We currently do not use analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent before enabling analytics tracking.
Third-party cookies
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies or collect usage data according to Google's policies. Images on our site are loaded from Unsplash and do not set cookies on our domain. We do not embed third-party advertising networks.
Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies or delete existing ones. Rejecting cookies via our banner stores your rejection preference but does not block site functionality.
To clear our consent preference specifically, remove the "mind-nodebase-cookie-consent" item from your browser's localStorage for mind-nodebase.click.
Impact of disabling cookies
Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using our website. The only impact is that the cookie consent banner may reappear on each visit if your preference cannot be stored.
